DTI
Launched on 1 April 2006, phase one of the DTIs low carbon buildings programme will run over three years and replaces the previous DTI Clear Skies and Solar PV grant programmes. Open to householders, public, not for profit and commercial organisations across the UK (except the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), the programme will demonstrate how energy efficiency and microgeneration can work hand in hand to create low carbon buildings. The Community Renewables Initiative (CRI) England
The Community Renewables Initiative's aim is to help groups and individuals realise that renewable energy can form part of the regeneration of their locality. There are presently 10 Local Support Teams throughout England covering most regions. Contact them here.
The CRI has secured further funding through to April 2007, and is now co-ordinated by the Severn Wye Energy Agency (SWEA), one of the existing Local Support Teams. SWEA will work with Natural England and the other CRI partners to develop a succession strategy for the initiative into the future. Contact Severn Wye here
Community Action For Energy (CAfE)
