Kilbraur Wind Farm Extension near Golspie, Sutherland.

This is an eight turbine extension to an existing nineteen turbine site.

Falck Renewables, the developers from whom the Kilbraur Wind Energy Co-op (KWEC) purchased a stake in the Kilbraur Wind Farm, submitted a planning application for an additional eight turbines on the current nineteen turbine site. In line with their commitment to community engagement, if the extension is approved, Falck have offered KWEC the option to purchase a stake in these additional turbines which will be carried out through a ‘members share issue’.
